With the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference just days away, I caught up with a couple IAMCP members to learn more about the organization’s time in Houston. Ryan Risley, Brittenford Systems’ CTO, is the IAMCP DC Chapter President.
Jon:What is the focus of IAMCP with its presence at WPC and how does Microsoft support the efforts?
Ryan: The goal of IAMCP at WPC is to help partners differentiate themselves as an active and connected organization. Microsoft works closely with IAMCP to be sure we have visibility and endorsements from representatives throughout Microsoft leadership.
Jon: How will IAMCP’s presence at WPC 2013 be different from previous years?
Ryan: IAMCP is making a very large effort at WPC to educate the value of the partnership more than any other WPC. The golf tournament, Women in Technology events, speed networking and education events give many opportunities to meet current IAMCP members and discuss the value of the partnership.
Jon:Can you give an example of the power of being an IAMCP member brings to the partner community?
Ryan: With the MPN continuing to evolve and partners working hard to run their own business, it is more important than ever to be a part of the IAMCP community. The low cost of membership ensures a high ROI within a very short period of time. IAMCP membership should be a requirement for Microsoft Partnership.
Thanks Ryan, I’ll see you in Houston!
