Hello All!
Im trying to install second WebServer instance to a dedicated Nav Web server. Only Nav web server components have been installed to the machine (W2012).
First problems was the missing navision powershell commands, wonder why they are not installed with the webserver components (or Administration Tools)?
Got the powershell commands to show up with import:
Import-module -name 'c:\temp\Platform Update (Build 34453)\NST\Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Management.dll'
After that I tried to the create new web server using command:
New-NAVWebServerInstance NewNavApp -server backendnavserver -serverinstance secondinstance
And got failure:
New-NAVWebServerInstance : The install path for Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web Server Components cannot be found.
I Wonder if the error has something to do with my manual import of the commands. I just cant figure out how to get them installed with the setup program. They are installed fine in the backend Nav server, but I cant really use them from there.
Any help greatly appreciated!
