well... didn't recommend anything, just voiced my opinion.
As a customer I would tell you something about choice: Finding that something is not fit for my business will lead to the decision not to do it. This pays off in the long run, too.
You are right on the UX, IMO. You can get used to the strangest things. But from a productivity point of view, it's good when you have a gentle learning curve and can become fast with the interface. RTC has a gentle learning curve, as it seems. But it requires a mouse with quite some mouse-miles between the controls you have to click. A mouse (or touch, for that matter) is slow compared to any keyboard, even what passes for a keyboard today. For these reasons I can understand that a customer is choosing the Classic Client if possible. Microsoft seems to have anticipated this, and tries to remove choice in NAV2013. We'll see how that plays out.
