We are using NAV Web Services to export a large dataset. This service exposes an XMLPort which contains 7 elements.
The dataset comprises of 350,000 records and when exporting this out via the client creates a file of about 140MB.
Recently when calling this it has caused the NAV server service to crash with a System.OutOfMemory exception. The server that this runs on has plenty of resources, but I am lead to believe that the OutOfMemory exception is not always related to physical resources anyway.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Could it be related to the large dataset that is trying to be sent via the SOAP message?
Any suggestions gratefully received.
