With that in mind, it's a choice of either the "Production Order Routing Personnel" table to record the machine operator against the operation, or use your Dimension suggestion.
If I use routing personnel, I could use the Employee No for the Personnel No and Employee Name for Description.
The disadvantage with this is if Fred produces 20 and John produces 25 for the same operation, I would not be able to see who did what.
This would suggest using Dimensions has the advantage over using the Routing personnel table.
