Microsoft Community in Serbia organized IT conference named '#Tarabica' on April 5th. 'Tarabica' is the Serbian word meaning 'small fence' as '#'. There were 42 lectures at the conference (36 lectures and 6 HOL's). One of 13 tracks was Microsoft Dynamics NAV track, organized by Serbian NAVUG. Microsoft Dynamics NAV was represented with three lectures. Lecturers were Miloš Stefanović, Damir Barjaktarević and me (Aleksandar Totović).
Miloš spoke on the topic Web Service @ Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2. He described with lots of details all processes of integration using SOAP and OData web services with practical examples.
Damir had topic about Why NAV 2013 is the best ERP Solution for SMB. This lecture was in open format with discussion about this topic. He successful described the main benefits using NAV.
I had the last lecture and I spoke about NAV 2013 R2 'on' Azure. I explained to the most important facts about NAV and Azure and after that, we made on-line installation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 on Windows Azure using provisioning tools with details explanation of each step. Audience was able to test this setup, using their phones and computers.
In one sentence: Very successful conference with 600 attendees, 42 lecturers and 10 MVP's from Serbia and region. We expect even larger conference next year.
