Forum Post: NAV2009 R2 RTC Changing of Server Setup

Hi all,

Can someone guide me as per below?

For NAV2009 Classic, I can create a database myself locally, point to it and use it.

Q1:

For NAV2009 RTC, can I do the same? Eg, pointing the server name/IP or database path directly to access the database in RTC mode? If not possible, how can I access RTC from a local database?

Q2:

Supposed I have created a separate SQL database for testing purpose, what should I be changing on the server address to point to the new SQL database?

Currently, the Server Address is xxx-sql:7046/DynamicsNAV.
