At the time when writing this post .. I’m in the plane after a most amazing day.
You might not know, but since a few years, we (that are Mark Brummel, Gary Winter, Vjeko and me) have been working on-and-off on an initiative called “Partner Ready Software“. I have been blogging about that in the past after doing sessions at NAVTechDays and such… where we present – what we believe to be – fresh ideas and concepts in terms of creating software, writing code … .
But it’s no secret: we have our own business (which comes first) and time is not on our side usually.. .
A few weeks ago, we got in touch with kind of a similar project within the Dynamics NAV development team – an initiative from enthusiastic developers, addicted to the product like us 
. We came in contact with Bogdana Botez, who has been working for quite some time now with Bogdan Sturzoiu, Abhishek Ghosh, Anders Larsen, Bardur Knudsen and Dmitry Chadayev for documenting all the existing Design Patterns in Dynamics NAV.
It didn’t take much consideration: we immediately decided to work together, as the initiative just had so many “touchpoints” .. . After a few online meetings, today, we had the chance to spend a day with them, brainstorming on how we can “serve” the Dynamics NAV Development Community by all that has to do with Dynamics NAV “Design Patterns”. What will we do – how can we facilitate it – .. .
Why would we care? Because we strongly believe it’s a good way for you to be repeatable – for making consistent software – for making software instead of solutions. And I’m really looking foward to work on this in the near future.. and work together with the motivated, dedicated and above all nice people at MDCC.
I’m not going to share too much just yet .. but you can expect a lot about this in the near future .. so be prepared …
