Forum Post: Inter-Company Transactions using External Document Number resulting in error.
Hello, One of my customer who uses inter-company functionality is running into error " Line no xxxxx of receipt your reference number , which you are attempting to invoice has already been invoiced" error when trying to post IC-Purchase Invoice. They use External document no on the sales invoice to IC partner customer and this number then follows through to Purchase Invoice as " Your Reference number". This works correctly in 2009. Any idea what is causing this error? Thanks.

We recently moved to NAV 2017 and we have one user experiencing the same problem. When she attempts to preview the Customer Payment Receipt, only the headers appear in the "subform" area. The data appears when she saves as XLS or PDF directly from the Print button drop-down, but she cannot correctly preview. We are looking into the graphics card (as we just re-built her entire Windows 10 machine w/no improvement). I will update this with the outcome -- in case others run into this issue.

Why you want to run the refresh production order on line insert ? are you planning to calculate components/routings ? if you are planning to calculate lines then it will not make any sense to do that during insert of a line. If you want to calculate components then on the report make sure you uncheck the lines to calculate.

Check any aging reports you will get an idea, you can store the dates for those year in two different variables and then use them to filter sales for those dates. 10055/10095.... report no.

Is it possible to install a 3rd party extension from the Extension Marketplace on an instance of business central running in a local docker container? I'm currently getting the following error message when attempting to install an extension: "Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.ExtensionProxySvc.Client, Version=1.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Forum Post: Item Average Cost & Revaluation Journals
Hi, We have discovered something very concerning in NAV 2016. When posting revaluation journals that have been revalued at $0, the unit cost on the item card does not get changed to $0 and is left at it's previous cost. This is causing major issues for our BI software as we extract the cost from this value therefore reporting incorrect inventory valuation. The users will also think the cost is correct and price items to their customers using wrong profit calculations. Is there any setup we are missing or how can we work around this?
