You might try to deny it, but everyone gets a little thrill when they meet someone famous. And in our little Microsoft Dynamics channel we have our own group of celebrities. They may not be paid millions of dollars like Hollywood stars, but they have certainly put in their share of hard work. They are the Microsoft Dynamics MVPs and All-Stars. When you attend the User Group Summit events a key benefit is getting to meet other users, peers that have the same pain points. But you also get to meet top subject matter experts. People who are super knowledgeable about the products and very active in the community. Not only can you meet them, you can get to know them personally. You can get advice from them, and have a drink with them. And then continue that relationship for years down the road. Here is our best effort at a complete list of MVPs and All Starts you can meet at User Group Summit. Forum Post: Multi staged Workflow in NAV 2018
I am looking to have two approvals stages in a single workflow. First stage has someone manually review the order for accuracy - this happens every time. Once that is approved, the second stage goes to through a credit check and goes onto accounting if it fails. I know I can create and use these workflows independently, but is there a way to make them work together? Thanks for you input.

Forum Post: RE: Movement Worksheet
Hi, Search for "Whse. Worksheet Templates", select the one for the Movement Worksheet. Then open NAVIGATE-Tab in the Menu, and click "Names". In this view, delete the entries for all old locations. Then create new lines for each new location with directed put away/pick.

Forum Post: RE: Item version
Hi, First you would have to decide if you just want to "data versioning" or if your products have a version. If you just want to have "data versions" - e.g. you can have different kinds of Descriptions per Product - then it is not possible out of the box. You need a customization. In case your actual products do have a version, then have a look for "Item Variants": community.dynamics.com/.../inventory-item-variants The purpose of Item Variants is different to Versions, but the general ideas are matching. Only downfall is, that you have to maintain sufficient Inventory for each Variant.

Forum Post: RE: Custom filters on page
I run one form from another. For example item ledger entry I run from Item, passing filters (with filtergroup). When I apply modify on item ledger entry page, all filters remove though filtergroup is there.

Thanks for the response, however... The user I'm logged on as is a domain admin, dbo for the database, and the NAV service user. I had no issues a month ago when developing, compiling, etc.

Forum Post: AL 2.0 Extension - Deploying to Business Central - Error PTE0004: Table '50100' is missing a matching permission set.
I’m trying to deploy an extension that I created to Business Central and I’m currently getting this error message: I’ve searched, I feel like, everywhere on what I need to do to add permission to my tables so that Business Central can be happy but I haven’t found anything. There really isn't much documentation on permissions. Does anyone know what I need to do to get permission on my two tables that I created? Or it could be possible that I don't have something right in my code. Also, if you have an example please could you link it here as well. That would be so helpful.

Forum Post: Chargelogic is Invoicing a different USD amount from the Sales Order when the Exchange Rate Changes.
We're using Chargelogic in the UK for Credit Card transactions with Pensio. We're having an issue where a USD Sales Order placed in a preceding month is invoicing at the new USD exchange rate in a subsequent month. We need it to use the same USD amount and post the current GBP amount like below. Currently it's changing the USD rate to match the new GBP to USD exchange rate. We don't know if it's a setup or code issue. GBP is our Local Currency. Here's how we want it. We're using Chargelogic Version 4.00.05.00. Thank You!

Forum Post: RE: Multi staged Workflow in NAV 2018
I have answered my own question. I have created two approval workflows. One for the first review stage and another for the second accounting stage. The order reviewer has to approve the order, update a specific field on the order and send it for approval again. The second approval is triggered when that specific field has been populated with the correct data. All of this is out of the box, and just based on the the first "on condition" for each workflow. I hope that provides some insight for other users attempting to create multiple branches in their workflows.

Forum Post: RUN MODAL Page not showing
I have a Batch Page in NAV, that uses RUN MODAL to open the batch page, the user selects the Batch, and it opens Another Page filtered with that Modal. Everything was working fine, but then I "Choose Column" and moved one column up. I could not longer open the Page. Refer: When I click on the Item Import Worksheet again, I get this instead: When I run SQL, I notice that it adds that Line whenever the first error pops up. I delete the line from sql, but then this process repeats at NAV Level. Any Idea on any fixes?

Forum Post: RE: How to print inventory report suppressing ZERO Qty items......
Hi Yes you can do that. Example, if you want to run "Inventory List" Report then just add additional filter "Inventory >0" .It will sub press all ZERO quantity Item . Regards Subhashis

Friends, thanks for all your replay. I understand this issue is related to some permission.I cant find out the solution. I got a work around for this change the Service login to Local system, then sync the objects. After that i can able to change the login to domain user and then it is working.
